The brief was one head, fourteen outfits, and no hair idea allowed to compete with the tailoring. So: wet, combed straight back from the hairline, re-wet between every second look because it dries flat and dead.

No product but a firm gel and a wide comb. The trick on a day like this is the parting - keep it exactly where it was in look one, or the whole set stops cutting together in the edit.

Hair and colour, Cihangir

A two-chair room above the simit oven on Akarsu Yokusu. Colour built for the grow-out, cuts done dry, six clients a day at most - so nobody sits in foils waiting for me to come back. Colour consultations are free and take twenty minutes.
